Welcome All,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Bastion Running Club. We have covered many miles as a club since our birth in 1981. We believe in community through the sport of running be it recreational or competitive. The health of connection through running and its associated activities can be a powerful experienced that I am sure most of us have realized. Bastion offers this avenue and in fact I believe it is heightened through the special folks that make up our club. I am sure most can recount a few interesting experiences through club events which I think makes us unique.
Once you have had a chance to "surf" through our site, it may spark an interest to want to come out for the first time, re-join, or continue to join us in our regular runs and club events. It is hoped that you will find a place of comfort in our club be it at races as a member, at training runs with the group, at Saturday morning "coffee", or at club social events.
